Lichess needs to do more about cheating!

High accuracy doesn't mean strong player. Fallacy still going around.

Yeah! I take a look about cheating (Google). Given the success of cheating videos on You Tube. It is easy to imagine that the number of players using these programs is unfortunately very high.

In my opinion, the best way to avoid cheaters is to play unranked games. The level is lower. I noticed this fact on another site (very famous site).

Indeed, and the number of players receiving the red "This account violated the Lichess Terms of Service" notice and consequent restrictions is therefore also very high. But those restrictions mean that we don't play against them any more.

We will occasionally encounter cheating opponents here in the period before sufficient evidence has been gathered to stick that red label on the account and restrict it. In many blatant cases, that happens automatically and almost immediately when they start playing here (or start cheating after previously playing fairly). If they cheat more subtly it may take a few games before the action can be taken in order to avoid closures of innocent players. This all means that encountering a cheating opponent here is rare enough for it to be a notable occurrence.

Define "very high". It's very low compared to the total amount of players and games played.

Thank you InkyDarkBird for sticking up for me. What I even find more flagrant is the way that a mod know the database doesn't work and still use it to call me a liar.

When you break this down the following has happened. A user (me but also numerous others) mentions the problems with cheating on this site. A mod (name will not be mentioned here because I want to focus on the problem and not a specific individual mod) mentions that I don't know what I'm talking about and asks if I even reported cheaters. He asks this knowing full well the documentation of this is not maintained. When I give an accurate number of the cheaters I encountered and reported in the past months he than says there is only one. He knows he doesn't know the accurate figure but rather than acknowledging that he calls me a liar. I feel this is behavior not becoming of a mod. I sent a report about the mod. This is unanswered. I than send an e-mail with what happened this is than unanswered. Therefore I can safely and with substance (meaning I have documentation to show this to be true) say that not only does lichess not do anything against cheating (bar the most flagrant ones) there is also a culture among mods and admins to downplay and control the narrative so that it seems that cheating is not a problem on lichess. And if you claim otherwise they simply lie about you with impunity.

Welcome to lichess anno 2023.

When a player is cheating or boosting, it shows in their stats wacky rating differences strange wins and losses and records like the guy beats world beaters IM NM strength players but his worst losses are to 1245-1450 rated players in classical (not blitz or bullet) and even gets checkmated by them with all the time in the world obviously boosting no way he loses to them if he's on the up and up.

Just look at the profile it tells you all you need to know before accepting a game.

Even though I haven't exactly given you what you asked for I think that if you read the whole thread you can see where my response is coming from.
"A user (me but also numerous others) mentions the problems with cheating on this site."
happens every day. so?
"A mod <snip> mentions that I don't know what I'm talking about
tough, but a fair assessment.
"and asks if I even reported cheaters. He asks this knowing full well the documentation of this is not maintained. "
if this documentation is not maintained, then it seems to me the obvious question to ask. Perhaps it should, mods wouldn't have to go begging for this information.
"When I give an accurate number of the cheaters I encountered and reported in the past months he than says there is only one."
so perhaps the records are being kept, but mods don't have access to them unless cleared by higher authority. Welcome to the first millennium. but taking this at face value, it seems that you have reported several players for cheating, and only one of them has been flagged.
Perhaps you should have posted, "When I give an accurate number of the cheaters I believe I have encountered". Because there is an obvious discrepancy between what you believe and what others see. But hey,if you're so committed to your beliefs and not to what others can validate, stick to your accusations. So far, people who try very hard to catch cheaters have looked at them and found you were right exactly once, but keep at it and you might get lucky. Again. Lightning can strike twice in the same place. Shoot off a shotgun in a pubic place often enough and you're bound to hit a bad guy. And who are you to give a rat's tail about anyone you've falsely accused but hasn't cheated?
