it would have been grand for the US to recognize Ukraine as a sovereign country in 2014 when Victoria Nuland, acting on US policy, instigated a coup. all this sudden US concern about sovereignty is most touch, and very much too late after the war it provoked has turned against it and against NATO. The US will be happy to leave and go on to the next foreign "adventure" (Taiwan), just as it was when it lost in Vietnam and Afghanistan and was finally, mostly kicked out of Iraq. I'll be happy to learn it has left Syria, where it has allied itself with jihadist groups to overthrow the government, and is no long promoting an american fake as the leader of Venezuela. And that dynamic is still driving US politics today, as Biden strives to appear strong and decisive, whether it is in the midst of faked air raid sirens walking through Kiev with Zelensky, or shooting down weather and hobby balloons, as the 2024 election starts to loom. A lot of people are expressing their believe that USA is a a first class democracy. If this is true I don't understand why this country
has a long tradition to cooperate with dictators like Saddam, Marco, Diem, Batista etc to mention a few.

I live in the free West. It aint so free. Those days are long gone. It is literally 1984 with wrong speak punished. Do you remember when for instance people said the virus was a lab leak and called conspiracy theorists and banned from twitter, fb, or lost jobs?? Now the major newsoutlets and the US govt is saying so. RT with a miniscule portion of watchers, was banned in the UK and I believe the EU. Oh yes we believe in the free exchange of ideas and differing view points. Pleeeeaaaasssseeee I am actually old enough to remember when being a liberal meant you believed in freedom of speech and disagreement.
