Playing chess with russians?

Yes, there are different russians: Russians with normal brains and chess engines, and russians with robot brains and kalashnikovs. Do you any sort of proof that the normal russians would support Putin and his slaves? If this putain de Putin is starting this war it's for his nasty cause, not for all russians. There are other russians that are against the conflict and are helping Ukraine for hopeful victory, but we are behaving like "oh, he's russian, he's dangerous, kill him" because of what social media is making us believe. Oh, and next time you see an article about news of the war, look how they're perverting you, making you believe lies, that "aLL rUsSiAnS aRe AgAiNsT UkRaInE". Measure twice, cut once.

What do you mean by "conflict"? There is no "conflict", it's a war started by russia. And only russia is guilty in it. Also, what do you mean "hopeful victory"? How this victory should look like in your opinion by the way?
Something tells me you are russian. So tell me please, how do "good russians" help Ukraine?

And on my experience with russians. Of course it's not only media! I am able to read forums here for example. I am able to read discords and in-game chats in other places. And what I see is huge amount of russians are indeed pro-war.

Not playing against someone because he/she is from Russia is simply close minded. I don't like nor respect people who act like that. Just my opinion..

You see, for some people personality of opponent matters. There are certain limits beyond which you find any kind of interaction and good sportsmanship unacceptable. Not everyone does not give a f*ck about the whole world around if they just want to play. I personally don't think that playing nazis is a good idea just because "we all are people".

How big is the cave you're currently living on? Social media and newspapers are screaming about the invasion, the war started by Russia (I'm talking about Putin's Russia not people's Russia, there's a huge difference. And don't re-ask me what's the difference, I'm not a geography teacher). I meant the hopeful victory of Ukraine, and I hope that everything will go well in the future, that we will arrest the traitor in the throne, and to never see forum posts about this conflict again, even less by people who don't even understand the subject of this topc before clicking on "Reply".

> Something tells me you are russian. So tell me please, how do "good russians" help Ukraine?

You know I'm not. I don't know a whole lot about russia, just know Algeria, cuz I was born in Algeria. Russia is divided in two people: Putin's Russia, sadly the majority of them, that are for Russia, and people's Russia, a number of people you can count with your hands, that oppose the russian dumbness.

Yes, because they're a majority. But some rare geniuses are form believers that liberty deserves fighting for it, that we must fight against Putin and his henchmen, no matter the nationality, no matter the color. Enemies are no more enemies if we fight for a common purpose. Everybody deserves peace, and equality.

How can you know someones personality based on the flag they use? Where did I say I don't give a shit about the whole world around?

Ok, I see. Just small note FYI: "conflict in Ukraine" is very russian narrative invited to create a picture that there are "several sides of the conflict" and everyone is guilty (a little bit), and everything is not so univocal - usual russian blah-blah-blah to distort a reality. I am telling you once again: there is no "conflict", there is a war started by russia, and russia is the only aggressor in this war. Please, pay attention to these small details next time.

For the rest - I see that your knowledge do not base on solid facts but rather some idealistic theories...

I firmly agree with Alex. This is a modest form of protest. Hopefully one russian player will see the light and protest the unjust war at home.

Okey, first question answered but not second. Also, displaying the flag MIGHT mean that this particular player is okay with the war, MIGHT! It could just mean he/she is proud to be Russian and there's nothing that can take that away from him/her.

You stated your opinion, I did mine and that's it. Time to move along..
