This is a really good and underappreciated article! What would be the next step in the process though? You compare your evals to those of the engine, but if they're not matching, what do you do with that info?
@blahblahblah77 You have to check whether it is long-term (strategical) or short-term (tactical). It is strategic if you make a stable move and the evaluation doesn't change. Suppose it changes significantly - then the initial number is because of tactical reasons. So, you can be correct (you thought you had a strategic advantage) and incorrect (you lost after a forced line) simultaneously.
