Think you’re missing the point. Battle Chess, Chessmaster, Kasparov Chess. We’re all PC chess games with simulations and tournaments. Fritz had nothing but an engine

the fritz interface has plenty done by chessbase and runs on a pc, try it before you scoff, you can even play a simulation of a drunk player personally i dont need the simulation going to a pub to play(well legion club).
whats the difference between an interface and a game semantics try it out...

I’ve played Fritz and bought several versions of it.

A chess game. for PC for me is one that has gameplay not just a chess engine. Chessbase produce chess engines and others tried make gameplay from the pc application.

Gambit Chess was a good example as you could play different chess player simulations .

A PC Game is classical one that has a feature or several features that try to create a game play storyline or narrative or simulation.

Chessbase created tools for chess players not games.

It’s my opinion and you have yours, let’s agree to disagree.
