"Classical" Game?

Why do people create "Classical" games that are less than 5 minutes long?
I've even seen "Classical" games that are 1+
Aren't these "Blitz" and "Bullet" times, respectively?

The Question: How can such short games even be considered "Classical"? And if they can't, then why doesn't the program just automatically convert "Classical" to "Blitz" or "Bullet" based upon the time that the creator sets?
The long increment pushes the average total time over eight minutes. 7+0 is blitz, 8+0 is classical. 2+2 is blitz, 2+10 is classical.
#2 is right, but I agree that eight minutes for an entire game really shouldn't be considered classical.
Rapid is a better word, but it's a nonissue in my mind.
