Post apocalyptic fiction

I've always found this an interesting genre to explore.
The survival of man
After the ultimate catastrophe
And the revival of knowledge

One of my favorites is
A Canticle for Leibowitz
Walter M Miller ,Jr

Book of Eli is a good read. Also a movie.
Haven't read check and checkmate .
The Postman is another good one.
There is a lot of good video games based on post apocylptic survival.

Such as fallout, last of us, and days gone.

The Stand was good but man it was long 1153 pages. They made it into a miniseries. I've got it on VHS (of all things, lol) and it's 3 tapes over 6 hours in all ,366 min.
