I messed up in the middlegame. Need advice in improving strategy.

Okay, here is the best video of HOW TO MAKE A PLAN IN CHESS I have made so far on my channel, I know it will help you:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=4agYGxT2XtM

This one wull help you in any position to find plan(dont know the plan? search for pawn breaks!): www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qha8BXqFk-Q

Sometimes there are no obvious plans, so we need to improve our worst piece: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFXMID7ZvZw

Just trying to help mate, after watching those 3 I am sure you will feel improved! :)
Every thanks message inspires me to make more instructive videos! Thank you for watching, subscribe my channel not to miss new ones! :)

You played very good but a little bit passive in the opening part.

Then you decided for Rf1-e1, which in itself is not bad, but you are blocking square e1 for the Nf3. It can be very handy to play Nf3-e1 in some cases with such a Q+B battery (Qc6-b7) aiming at g2.

For example Bb4 was an idea, or Rf1-c1 or Rf1-b1, or Ne1

(Note that the strong looking battery can get into trouble with Ne1, because of the c7 pawn limiting the black queen action radius. Once white plays a bishop to f3, black has only Ne4 to prevent losing the Bb7. Sometimes strong looking setups have a not so visible Achilles heel, and bad looking setups might be more solid than one would expect.)

After a few more moves you were still doing fine (Though the combo of Bd1, Ng4, Qa3 didn't look very harmonious), but then suddenly a few mistakes popped up.

Suggestion : Try to activate all of your pieces, and make them work together as a team, in harmony.

And if you have a very good position, but no good moves to improve your position, then look at your pieces, and find out which piece is unhappy (More or less quoting GM Seirawan).

I would also like to suggest watching the GM Smirnov videos about offend-defend versus playing real chess. Can be eye opening, and preparing a jump to the next level.
@KestonyChess Thanks a lot for uploading those videos. Already subbed. I really found your videos to be very helpful. :)
@achja Thanks a ton for going through my game. I'll keep your suggestions in mind in my next games. Thanks again :)
