Which do you prefer: bishop or knight?

The shorter the period the better the knight.

Bishop you cant fianchetto the knight

Depends on situation. If in open positions, I prefer the Bishop, but in closed positions, the Knight.

The knight is acc worth 3.5 and bishop 3

B coz it can open up the king more easily (Greek gift, Evan’s gambit, scotch gambit etc...). When the N has the same opportunity the other player missed on a 2 move threat usually. Also B is stronger in endgames in general.

Bishop because its easier to develop in the openings, and it is more versatile.

Bishop, 75 per cent of the time is better in my opinion!

Everyone has interesting answers to be honest. But personally i like bishop more than the knight. The only time i like knights more than bishops is during the endgame. :)
