NM Spencer Finegold

I'm NM Spencer Finegold. 32 years old currently living in Georgia, USA.

I played in my first tournament when I was four years old. When I was 11 I stopped playing, but picked up the game again at 17. I started to take chess more seriously then, and about five years later broke NM. A couple years later I stopped playing tournaments for a while, but started up again as of April 1st 2021.

I've been a professional chess coach for over a decade. I've taught every skill level from pure beginner to expert. Private lessons are my most common way to teach, but I have given countless lectures, classes, summer camps, etc. I've taught all ages as well, from 4-85. All-in-all I have given several thousands of hours of chess instruction in my lifetime.

I worked for the CCSCATL. Also I am a USCF Local TD. I have done tons of videos for the CCSCATL and streamed with them. I also have my own stream on twitch and youtube channel.

I have a lot of experience teaching all personality types. I'm very patient and understand how difficult it is to play the game and analyze it properly.

I mostly try to analyze my students games. Also we will focus on calculation training. Not as much on openings or endgames. Those we will analyze as they appear in your games.
