Lichess Needs Profile pictures!!!

I know that but there is no option for profile pictures here in Lichess and thank god there is no profile picture option

Profile picture means pictures, pictures mean storage, more storage means money, lichess is an organization so they can't afford it, so yeah using imgur as an external database for the profile pictures is the best they can, which they can only read images from external links other than imgur

We could afford it, but there are simply better ways to spend donation money on. Also, many people prefer the simple design without many images and adding lichess hosted pfps would mean a lot more mod work for the mods.

Without having read any comment that was made to this until here: You can add your picture via uploading it to imgur then copy+paste the link to your bio.

This is one of the main reasons for me to use lichess, and yes it could be spent on better features plus it is useless to have pfp on a lichess acc
