Sometimes Forum Omissions Are Inexplicable.

It's hard to believe, but there doesn't seem to be a single forum post this morning marveling about the sheer greatness of last night's playoff basketball game between the Knicks and the Sixers.

Congratulations to the Knicks. And respect to the Sixers.

That, ladies and gentlemen, was one shining, historic, dramatic, beautiful basketball game.

Too bad the Timberwolves are obviously the best team left standing. I mean too bad for the other teams, especially for the Nuggets. Not too bad for the Timberwolves.
Well you've made the thread now lol also I'm English we had zero reports about a play off basketball game in America . America is not the centre of the universe which probably comes as a surprise to a few Americans lol xxx
Isn’t basketball netball for men or somewhere Nike advertise their latest shoes at a cost nobody can really afford without taking on the national debt of Greenland?
As far as "America not being the center of the universe," well -- I quite agree.

But let's be fair -- in this forum I also treat Liverpool footie with the vast respect that it richly deserves, too. Furthermore, Brits and other Europeans don't seem to have any problem frequently writing about their much-less-worthy (than Liverpool) football teams.

And don't even get me started about Cricket, which I'm not sure is even a real sport.

Wow, a post in the off topic that isn't.

"I peeled a potato today. Thoughts?"

or

"jam and butter wooo"

or

"soooo"

or

"pineapple pizza haha"

I'd venture to say that more people have heard of the New Orleans Pelicans than the London Lions

> Well, we could be talking about curling...

Warning! If you belittle curling keep safe distance from those who played at competitively even if it it was below national level, Accepting a challenge from one of those might turn in a humbling and humiliating experience. Especially when some are seeing that the for several days your body is going through Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness.

Luckily for me, I avoided this pitfall when 2 coworkers asked me to go Curling because I knew the skills and training required.
