Lichess for schools

Many schools have started to use Lichess to host online tournaments. However, this has required students to create many teams and accounts only for short-term use. Has the Lichess team ever thought of adding a feature to host/create tournaments without having to do all this account creation?

This sounds very useful. How does game play work on lichess/class? If the students play in school, does the teacher somehow record the match? Or is all play on lichess? What if a student already has a lichess account?

You can invite them to the class.

Can you send a one-time link to all the students just to participate in one blitz tournament for example without having to create an account?

Lichess is cool. Fun fact my account is also a school account only but children are not allowed to close their account unless they leave the school

No, this is not possible yet on lichess.
