Lichess should definitely be fixed before the arena starts again.

I can't believe that over a dozen thousand players have been removed.
Many with better scores than the players rated 2000 with zero points...

I believe due to the ammount of elite players attending to Agadmator's Chess Arena, the announcement would be better in a post of its own.

Maybe sub-2000 had many games but they also had no chance of winning or being in the top, it seems fair to me.

Also if they could fix it easily they would have done so, people don't realize how hard software development can get sometime, especially where it's an algorithm issue so it's much more math than pure code.
